He’s come up with a homemade glider design, gotten it built (with a little help from E Mode), and now he’s ready to test it. He doesn’t know it’ll be in a very dramatic way. . . . “Dr. E. Brown Enterprises – 24 Hour Scientific Services”: Doc’s an inventor at heart – he adores building things to make the world better. And although his main love is his always-ongoing time machine project, he’s certainly not adverse to taking on new ones. If somebody needs something fixed, Doc would be happy to lend a hand. The Rift did leave him with a few of his old powers for manipulating machines, after all. (Openings for anyone who has a device they think Doc could fix, permanently open)

“The other great mystery of the universe – women.”: Doc’s never been good with women and relationships. He’s only had two girlfriends in his life, and both were in the relationship for reasons other than love. He’s pretty much dedicated his life to the pursuit of science and invention with little time for romance. But if the right girl came along, one who loved Jules Verne and science as much as him. . . . Subplot: Not only has Doc never had a successful relationship, he’s missed out on another rite of passage. Yes, poor Doc is a 66-year-old virgin. Although he doesn’t think about it often, he would like to change that at some point. (Open to one female, does not have to be the same as above – threading out sex not necessary)

When he's not roleplaying in the Rift or the Nexus, the Doc Brown known as "Clockwork" lives in the Inkwell Bar and Grill, the local restaurant and hangout for his mun Victoria's muses. Clockwork also happens to own the place, so it's very easy for him to conscript it for his birthday. Anyone entering today will find that the bar has a wide selection of various cakes on it for people to sample, along with freezers full of ice cream. Clockwork himself is seated at the bar with a slice of chocolate cake, smiling at anyone who comes in.

Anybody's welcome to drop by, either just to say "hi" or to grab some cake. (One warning -- you might want to avoid the cake on the far left of the bar. Mrs. Plum made that one, and being a dead cook from "Corpse Bride" prone to putting body parts in her meals. . . .)

Just letting you all know that Doc's going to be doing gigs in dear_multiverse as well as the Rift. There shouldn't be any mention of Nexus in the Rift (besides Doc possibly getting a shiny new wristwatch), but if anything bleeds over into his journal, it'll be tagged "Nexus" quite clearly in the Subject Header.
