[Locked to Revan] I really need to talk to you. About a number of subjects. Torchwood in Can you meet me in Grant Park sometime soon? I'll be by the water fountain. I just -- very much need to see you. [/Locked]

[Locked to John "JD" Dorian] I've decided to take you up on your movie offer, if it's still open. Just tell me what room you're in and what's a good time for you. My curiosity's just gotten the best of me.

I heard you met Farley Claymore -- hope you two got along. It's funny how everyone I meet seems to run into each other eventually. [/Locked]

[Locked to Gladys] I've made it safely to the homeless shelter you pointed me to. They were fine with putting me up for a while. Thank you again for the money and the tip -- it was very much appreciated. I've managed to secure employment (well, using the term a bit loosely), so hopefully I can pay you back soon. Don't worry about me, I'm fine. [/Locked]

[Locked to Farley] I'm actually going to go see this movie I apparently star in -- JD offered to show it to me. I must be out of my mind, but I haven't been able to stop wondering about it. Plus it means seeing Marty again

It was good to see you the other day in the park. I hope you're still doing all right. No more disturbing dreams, right? [/Locked]

[Locked to Aubrey] I've actually managed to get a job at the junkyard we were going to. The owner's willing to give me $20 a week if I watch the place while he gets lunch and keep anyone from taking parts. Also giving me the pick of the junk piles. I might be able to wrangle something for you, if you're interested and need pocket money.

I haven't found any trace of Litta yet, I'm sad to say. Been asking around all over Chicago, but no luck. I don't intend to give up yet, though. I'm coming back to the hotel briefly to see a movie (about ME, apparently -- it's complicated), so I'll check around there before I leave again. She can't have just -- well -- no, they have to go SOMEPLACE

How are you doing? Like I said, if you need anything, just let me know. Oh, and say hi to the Skid for me. (Farley told me about giving it the sex talk. Best laugh I've gotten in a month.) [/Locked]

I'm glad you made it dearie, and don't worry about paying me back, really. It's no problem at all.

Yay for being employed! ^_^

I'll feel better if I can.

Indeed! Even if it's one of those "under the table" jobs. Though I technically can't get anything else. At least at this one I can get parts too.

No, the dreams are still going on, but at least I know what they are now. Most of the time, they're not so much disturbing so much as very strange. (What I'm going to do about the ones with stuff that might happen is beyond me...)

You're absolutely sure about the whole movie thing? I'm a little curious myself, but at the same time...

I see. I can imagine they'd be fairly odd at times. Just keep a close watch out, I suppose. And let us know in case of any major disaster.

I know, but -- I can't help myself. I have to see. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.

And frankly, this may be the only way I'll ever see my best friend again, so I'm willing to put up with any amount of weirdness for that.

Oh brilliant! Pick of the Junk Piles sounds like a pretty little game I could play. >.> I really need to start working on the Skid again. And also, hooray you have a job!! ^^

...a movie about you. I'll ask later. :P

Oh right, the Sex Talk! Yeah, I kind of burst out laughing in his face when he told me, too. Especially since the Skid's, y'know, a machine and all, and he was so embarassed about it! XD

About Litta. Thanks. I'm, um, just not going to think about it right now, is all. Keep an eye out and not think.

[OOC: Uh, so Aubs has totally seen the BTTF movies, albeit slightly different versions, but for the purposes of the Rift (and the "canon-puncture just never crossed our minds") we'll just say they didn't exist in xes world. Randomly. For no good reason.]

Heh, I thought you'd be interested in that. Maybe now we can get the Skid ready for actual driving on regular roads. And yes, hooray! Very cheap, slightly underhanded job, but a job!

Yeah, it -- seems to be about an alternate universe. One without Fae. Perhaps I'll be able to explain better once I've actually SEEN the damn thing.

(laughs) Poor Farley. Though I probably couldn't have done much better in his position, come to think of it.

Right. I'll do the same.

(OOC: Oooh? Doc and I are intrigued by this "slightly different version." Details? :D)

Yeah! Though I really miss driving it the way it was meant to be driven as well. Just don't know where I'd even begin to be able to do that. ><

You'll have to tell me about it afterward!

[OOC: It's only different in the fact that xes world is really different. Tarwhal, America being a ...second-world country? Not a major superpower, anyway. That sort of stuff. Nothing huge.]

Yes, can't exactly think of any truly wide-open spaces around here. Too bad, I'd like to see the Skid in action.

I will, I promise. Though I suspect it will be extremely awkward.

(OOC: I see. *thoughtful*)

Awesome! Oh, yeah, offer is totally still up!

Any time! I haven't left my room, again since...

Yeah, I'm getting really pasty. But I got a hold of the movies so whenever you'd like.

OH! I totally met him in the hallway, y'know! He's a really cool guy!

((OOC: So sorry for the lateness! Real life's been kicking my butt.))

Good! I have to admit, I'm very intrigued. And don't worry about not leaving your room -- sometimes I wouldn't leave my house for weeks while busy with a project.

I really don't have anything special going on myself, besides lunch hour "shifts" at the junkyard. Tomorrow afternoon/evening all right then?

Yeah, I talked to him the other day in the park. (I was practicing my weather control powers on a thunderstorm.) I agree, he's quite likable.

(OOC: No problem, I figured that was the case. Real life can be a real pain, can't it?)
