Well, [livejournal.com profile] clanoftheswords did it, so I figure I might as well too. I'd really like a Marty to go with my Doc, so here's the application I submitted before if anyone wants to take a look or tweak it:
Matching Set )

Some notes on Doc's current social circle:

People I'd Like Doc to Meet
Dmitri Lang -- I think they'd clash interestingly.
Suzie Costello -- Oh, definitely. I imagine great Doc-breakage if she sees his Keeper-shaped shadow.
Zel -- technically already met, but when you come back from hiatus, Kat, I wouldn't mind them saying hi again.
JD -- again, technically already met, but I'm just curious on how the whole "watching the movies" thing will be handled. Threading, or are you too busy and we should handwave? Just got journal entries piling up in my head. Taken care of through handwaving -- JD's now a Fanclub member.

(OOC: Due to the fact that JD's mun Rizzy has not seen BTTF in years and thus wasn't sure how to handle threading, we're handwaving. Pretend this happened a few days ago)

Well. I just saw the Back To The Future trilogy. Yes, trilogy. There are three movies. JD was nice enough to sneak me into his room and order them up so we could watch them. Thank you, JD.

I -- The movies are obviously a different universe from where I came from. The version of Dr. Emmett Brown contained therein never had any run-ins with Faeries. The movies were an exploration of his first time travel experiments with Marty. Well, more accurately, first time travel disasters. In the first movie, Marty accidentally broke up his parents, and his mother developed a crush on him, so he was slowly erasing from existence. In the second, Biff Tannen (a jackass and bully I knew back in Hill Valley) stole the time machine and a future sports almanac from 2015 and created an alternate reality in which he murdered Marty's father, married Marty's mother, and basically completely destroyed our hometown. The third saw my other self get trapped in 1885, with Marty having to go rescue him. It all ended happily, of course, but

I can't say I regret seeing the movies, I was able to actually glean a lot of information for my own flux capacitor. (Apparently I'm supposed to be using a car called a DeLorean for this. I prefer the Skid myself.) And it was good to see Marty again. I'm sure you're all sick of me saying this, but I do miss him. It was just so -- strange, seeing this other me, untouched by monsters, Fae, having adventures, inventing things

HE'S MARRIED.

My other self, at the end of the trilogy, has a wife and two children. It would be stupid of me to say I'm not jealous. Great Scott. . . .

I'm fine, really, just -- confused. How is everyone? Revan, I still want to talk to you if you get a moment.
