OOC/MuseVerse: Inkwell Party!

When he's not roleplaying in the Rift or the Nexus, the Doc Brown known as "Clockwork" lives in the Inkwell Bar and Grill, the local restaurant and hangout for his mun Victoria's muses. Clockwork also happens to own the place, so it's very easy for him to conscript it for his birthday. Anyone entering today will find that the bar has a wide selection of various cakes on it for people to sample, along with freezers full of ice cream. Clockwork himself is seated at the bar with a slice of chocolate cake, smiling at anyone who comes in.

Anybody's welcome to drop by, either just to say "hi" or to grab some cake. (One warning -- you might want to avoid the cake on the far left of the bar. Mrs. Plum made that one, and being a dead cook from "Corpse Bride" prone to putting body parts in her meals. . . .)

Clockwork smirks back. "I see. Well, the Rift must be doubly blessed, because there's two of Ten there. Though one's stuck inside a watch -- I really don't know the particulars." And given the stuff that happened when he found said watch, he doesn't particularly want to find out.

"Good," Clockwork says as Tommy Tentacle waves back. "Does make it easier."

OckDoc snorts. "I don't think he's heard much of the 'liquid chocolate' line, actually."
"Enough," Clockwork says, rolling his eyes. "Still, sounds delicious."

The narration isn't sure about Radu, but Erik might feel comfortable over by the piano and Victor. Victor loves music too, so there's a topic of conversation for them. And Erik's scars, while possibly blink-worthy, aren't much when some of your closest friends are rotting corpses.

Ten winces at the mention of the watch. "You don't want to know. And, er..." He leans close to speak in Clockwork's ear. "I wouldn't mention the watch around Lisa...either one of them. It's a sore spot." It's obvious he doesn't want to discuss it and he's glad the din of the place has caused her to not hear the conversation.

Erik has indeed slinked over to the piano to get away from the crowds. Lisa has let him wear his mask, for once, and the wig so he's slightly less uncomfortable than normal. Radu has joined him so at least he'd have someone he knew close by.

Hooks and Luke are trying to select a cake but are having trouble deciding. They finally settle on a slice of carrot cake, which fits in a funny sort of roundabout way because Hooks is a vegetarian.

The rest of the guys have scattered. Jesse and Jamie have started a game of darts while Ryan, Tommy, Dex and Gary take over a pool table. Data, Adam, Luke and Hooks with cake in tow go for the poker table and the four Doctors sit at the bar. They all will wind up with cake at some point during the night.

Clockwork nods understandingly. "The Rift!You wasn't too happy about it all either," he says. "It's a complicated mess."

Victor gives Radu and Eric friendly grins. Scraps, his skeleton dog, is by his feet, sniffing the newcomers curiously. Don't ask how a dog with no nose can smell.

TeenDoc watches the foursome at the pool table while working on his automated pool cue. He'll let them have their game, then he'll SHOW THEM ALL! Or maybe just launch the cue through a window. Either one. Clockwork keeps an eye on him as he makes sure there's enough food and drink for everybody.
